Chiado is the most glamorous area of historical Lisbon

The apartment’s building was reconstructed in 1997, maintaining its original 18th century façade, under the supervision of the famous architect Alvaro Siza.

It is located at Rua do Carmo, which is a prestigious pedestrian street hosting some of the most important Lisbon attractions, like the famous Santa Justa iron lift rated with three Michelin stars.

Rossio is just at 50 mt and Praça do Comércio at 150 mt.

Baixa, Castelo, Alfama, Mouraria and Bairro Alto are all reachable on foot.

Chiado is considered to be the most beautiful and glamorous area of Lisbon, unique for its atmosphere and always a favorite meeting point for locals and visitors with its beautiful churches, theatres, opera, restaurants, cafés, shops, fashion boutiques and art galleries.

It remains one of the most fashionable (and expensive) places to live in Lisbon.

Before arriving you will be sent a Personal Guide to Lisboa in English with suggestions for sightseeing, restaurants, fado places, cafes and terraces, nightlife, shops, children programs, music, wine brands, etc.
